Delegate Angela Angel would like the positive male role models in our community to celebrate the occasion with the second annual Dap Day, a day in which the caring men in our community show their solidarity and support for the students of Prince George's County Public Schools. Volunteers form a perimeter of encouragement at the front entrance of all local schools in District 25 and give an encouraging handshake/dap to every student before they start their school day.
Last year, Dap Day achieved great success and our volunteers’ great work was even featured on Fox 5 News. We need that support again this year. Less than an hour of your time can brighten a child’s day and give them the encouragement they need to have a great 2017 school year.
Please click HERE and sign up today! Our goal is to have at least five men per one of our 30 schools. Please share this message with your organization, office, or institution.
